We have had a hot summer and I have been spending quite a bit of time in the air conditioning space below the port side galley on my 40 Cabo convertible. One thing that I have noticed is the space does not have any exhaust ventilation/air circulation in the space to help dissipate the heat generated by the air conditioning compressors and the refrigerator/freezer down there.

I'm reaching out to see if any Cabo 40's have had exhaust ventilation installed in the space below the galley on the port side? I was thinking about installing an in line blower in the overhead above the air conditioning units that would discharge via a flex vent line under the port couch and out the hand hole access in the port hull vent plenum. Or maybe a vent line running behind the refrigerator/freezer then up behind the trash bucket along the port hull side to the hull vent plenum.

Just trying to help the space breath better.
