Solaris Power has been in the midst of expanding its power offering recently and with models like the Power 64 Long Range and the new Power 70 Grand Coupé in the works there you might not believe there is room from another model. Essentially, the new Power 64 Grand Coupé is a similar boat to its 64 Long Range sister however on the surface it offers one distinct difference. Instead of having a fly bridge area as the model name suggests, the Grand Coupé has no fly bridge, just a a hardtop that runs the length of the superstructure. However, there is the added advantage of having large skylights in the roof of the Grand Coupé.

Besides the obvious of the two models sharing a 19.7-meter hull platform, The differences rely on capability and use-case for different ownership types. The Long Range 64 is designed for owners for will be utilizing the boat for longer and extended periods where greater range capabilities is required. Additionally, since they may be staying onboard longer, there is the need for greater openness onboard. The fly bridge adds greater space with daybeds and al-fresco dining and a second helm position with associated seating.

The Power 64 Grand Coupé is not designed as a replacement to her sister model but rather an alternate offering for owners who may not need a fly bridge yacht and can operate without the additional flybridge space. These may be owners who want to operate the model in temperate of colder climes where the use of the extra exterior space would be limited in the cold portions of the year. The Grand Coupé naturally is not as tall either which may help with transiting height-restricted waterways and canals.

The builder is presently working on the details for the 70 Grand Coupé which will present a slightly larger platform from future owners who want the same conditions and environment as the 64 but with a bit more volume and space. The 64's design is a collaborative effort between Dragoni Design Lab, 3 Studio, and the Solaris Power Design Teams. Volvo Penta power will be onboard with optional power packages offered. With the largest package the yacht is expected to reach 29-knots and cruise quickly at 18-knots.
