  1. Greenline Unveils Hybrid-Ready 50
The new Greenline 50 has been unveiled by Greenline Yachts and the yard also revealed that the first hull is well under construction and is a flybridge variant. The 50 model essentially will be replacing the Greenline 48 which has been quite popular. The yacht will come in the flybridge variant as evidenced by the first hull currently under construction as well as a coupe version for those who do not want the flybridge.
  2. The yard suggests that the 50 is hybrid ready with integration of the yard's 6G hybrid propulsion system. However, the standard it appears will be fitted with conventional diesel engines. The system would be supported by solar panel integration and battery storage. On the fly there is a forward solar array on the forward section of the roof as there is no other suitable place to put it.
  3. The 50 Coupe version because it does not have the flybridge, allows for more real estate to place a greater swath of photovoltaics on the roof surfaces. "The yard's new models have introduced a new awareness of the way spaces on board add value to the boating experience and spurred us to ever greater efforts in terms of interior finish. It was high time that our mid-range boat received this treatment, and so the Greenline 50 was born", Alessandro Lorenzon, Chief Experience Officer - Greenline.
  4. Given this model is expected to replace the 48, it is therefore slightly larger and offers greater volume. The Greenline 50 offers customers a choice of up to a three cabin layout. This layout also can incorporate up to three heads as well. Additionally those guest accommodations are also made configurable as twin or double arrangements depending on flexibility/preference on the part of the customer. As aforementioned, the first hull is currently under construction and expected to be launched this Summer.
