    "Q", the ex "Ragnar".

She had an extensive refit this year as well especially redone interiors by Zuretti. A 4-meter swim platform extension was also done to the yacht's stern. Here are a few renderings to give you an idea of how the new interior looks.

"Ursus" has been delivered after that very extensive refit that included significant lengthening.

Latest large yacht conversion has broken cover...she is the result of conversion from the Offshore Supply Vessel named "L Symphony". It is an 88-meter platform that has been significantly added to. The aft now has helipad facilities and a number of decks has also been added aft of the original superstructure. This is when she first arrived for the conversion back in 2024.

Wouldnt it be more feasible to just buy a new one? These things get exposed to countless abuse from every aspect of nature, you would have to rebuild everything in order to make it safe for long cruises, which would end up costing more than a new vessel.
Although, I understand how a person would prefer that option if money wasnt a constraint, just for the aesthetics and experience! Its like riding in a vintage Mercedes-benz S class! Simply beautiful.

Conversions are all the rage now for all manner of reasons. A way to get a support vessel, a vessel with already rugged bones from exploration and expedition etc.
