I see the owner put out a video of her on sea trials on his IG. She looks so powerful sailing.

Including a first glimpse into the interior, revealing what appears to be a double-height volume with a sculptural feature rising through the main deck salon.

"Nausicaa" by Tom Van Oossanen when she was on trials.

Nausicaa will carry a Triton 660/9 AVA submarine onboard.

I’d also personally expect Yachtwerft Meyer-built tenders. They’ve been very active in Maezawa’s build posts and previously worked with Newson on one of the Solaris tenders. Yachtwerft Meyer even shared a covered tender a few months back that looks very similar to the limo tender in the renderings, and they often post about working on a very large tender.

The double-volume space appears strongly gallery-focused, with large chrome- or aluminium-finished canvases suspended from the ceiling and partially overlapping the floor-to-ceiling windows on the lower deck. The central sculpture seems to depict a boy on a diving board and could possibly be a work in the style of Elmgreen & Dragset — personally I find it a fitting choice for both the yacht and MZ’s strong passion for contemporary art.

The back right area could possibly be a sushi bar. I can not wait for the first interior shots.

The amount of structural glazing (glass) on this yacht is impressive. Lurssen did a fantastic job of concealing the internal mullions needed on the main deck wrap around glazing and the double compound curved glass on the top deck had to cost a small fortune. Not a real stunner looks wise in my eye but its growing on me the more that I study it. Certainly, a quantum leap forward with the amount of structural glazing for classification societies to be comfortable with signing off on.

A first glimpse of Nausicaä’s limo tender on the right side, built by Yachtwerft Meyer. It looks identical to the early Cosmos renderings, with both tenders along the side. IMG_7978.jpeg

The sportsfisher tender has now also arrived at the Rendsburg yard and is being referred to as “Teto.”
Quite a fitting (and amusing) choice of name—Teto is the small companion creature of Nausicaä in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

Do we have an idea on the launch mechanism for the SF?

Not 100% sure, but I’d bet on Yachtwerft Meyer. They teased a painted hull a while back with the caption “Why do tenders have to be small?”, and the bow looks very similar.
