    Modern. Stabil boat, 34 knot cruise with cat c32's, good on the troll, not a great head sea boat. Build quality is good. The 60' Hatteras from that era was also good and a great head sea boat.

    Thank you! 1980's Hatteras 58MY or ideally 61MY is our first choice but we're having a hard time finding one in good shape at our price point - (approx $300K) all in. We are under the impression from others that Vikings suffer from hull rot - cording in the way that a Hatteras does not - are you familiar with that issue?

    Yes, Hatteras don't have coring issues generally.
