    Just wondering what sort of market there is during these present days for small trawlers that might serve well as coastal cruisers,..loop and canal vessels?

    I did see this older subject thread that made some interesting observations,...but it is now closed for additional comments.

    I could agree with many of the submissions by Capt J over there, but I think his views about the slow speeds of pure displacement vessels are a little bias by his multiple experiences of needing speed to accomplish his many 'deliveries'.

    There are those times that we need to moderate our speeds,...and slow down to 'smell the flowers',...or was it stop and smell the roses ?

    Just received this as a private conversation, and thought it needed repeating here,..

    I just ran across at least 3 of those conversation subject threads yesterday.

    It appears there are a good number of those owners are thoroughly enjoying their looping cruising,...and particularly the Canadian loops vs the longer US one.
