    We bought a boat in fort pierce going to bring her home to peconic bay late April 2026
    Our first time making this run erase arch and planning starts now any suggestions from those who have made the trip ?

    Are you intending a leisurely trip? Or a "delivery?" ICW, outside, or a mixture of both? Some boat details: length, height, and draft and so forth? Crew?

    If ICW, the Waterway Guide should help, and there are also "mile by mile" booklets -- just the bridges and locks and so forth -- without all the additional info.

    Also if ICW, plan transits through some of the known skinny water areas in Georgia and South Carolina to coincide with mid-tide or better at that particular location. Not all that difficult...

    Do you really expect useful suggestions when all you said was “a boat” ???

    what kind… sail, power, trawler, planning, mono, cat, diesel, gas, 30’, 80’. ????
