  1. "Moss" Launched; Second Ocean Explorer 85
Steeler yachts has launched their first major yacht of 2026 called "Moss". It is actually the second hull in the Ocean Explorer 85 model which kicked-off with a baby-blue hull variant called "Aviso" in 2025. It is actually more of a range as the model comes in the 67, 72 and 85 variants. However, the new yacht unsurprisingly has a hull finish in a shade of green that is akin to the name affixed to the stern. The black accents on the superstructure, roof and underwater hull complement the overall colour scheme. Below is a look at the second hull, Moss taken by Guy Fleury.
  2. Offering an internal volume of approximately 110 GT, the vessel has a totally custom interior finished to a Studio Kees Marcelis. The Naval Architecture and exterior design seen is done inhouse by Steeler themselves. On the interior there is a three stateroom arrangement which takes in the main owners cabin and two guest cabins. There is also a single crew cabin to sleep up to two crew.
  3. With a round-bilged steel displacement hull and aluminum superstructure, the Ocean Explorer is made for blue water cruising. In fact, the Ocean Explorer 72 named "Two Bubbles" recently crossed the Atlantic on her own bottom and last known to have been in St. Maarten. As for the Ocean Explorer 85 they are built to CE-A standards too with unrestricted navigation notation.
  4. Creature comforts onboard include a pair of stabilizers, a jacuzzi and on the aft flybridge area there is a crane on the starboard side which allows for you to store a your tender on the aft flybridge deck. There is some implementation of solar photovoltaics onboard on the hardtop to help offset some hotel load-related operations. Aviso (Hull 1, OE85) also has a similar setup.
