  1. First OceanWalker S60 Delivered To Customer
The world got to see a glimpse of the first OceanWalker S60 solar-electric power catamaran yacht when it was displayed at the 2025 edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). Now that the vessel is completed it will head to the Bahamas immediately as it was purchased by Ki'ama Bahamas. Club Ki’ama ownership includes access to a fleet of crewed, fully catered, solar-powered, and solar-hybrid Club Ki’ama Yachts. These remarkable luxury catamarans mitigate the major drawbacks of traditional yachts – the environmental impact and noise of fossil fuel engines and/or generators, high operating costs, and expensive maintenance – without diminishing the pleasures that make yachting one of the ultimate vacation experiences.
  2. The 60-foot power cat is spacious onboard inherently from its catamaran stance. In fact, it boasts a beam of 27.6-feet. A typical monohull in the 60-foot range would have a beam of 17 to 18-feet. For comparison the Nordhavn N60 is 18-feet wide which makes this new power cat a whole 10-feet wider. That width is certainly felt in the main salon on the main deck. The main deck blends the galley, dining, relaxation saloon area all into one homogenous space. A convertible dining table is there when needed for dining, the galley-up configuration on this hull features a galley island concealing pop-up television that can rotate to face a wider area of the room.
  3. Top speed of the 60-foot yacht is estimated to be around 16-knots. Slowing down to more comfortable and economical speeds allows for respectable range numbers. Given where the vessel is going to be operating -the shallows of The Bahamas-, the very slim 3-foot draft will come in handy. The boat itself carries a capacity for 8,000 LT of fuel and 800 LT of fresh water. 42,000 KG is the displacement of the twin-hulled vessel.
  4. Below decks there are 4 guest cabins which are comprised of two VIP cabins and two regular cabins that are still finished to a high-standard. The vessel is designed for 3 to 4 cabins with 4 to 5 heads. The vessel has solar panels incorporated which helps to offset some of the hotel load operations. The power collected by the solar panels during the day is sufficient to support AC for all guest cabins overnight. In addition, the battery system, with an 80 kWh capacity supports refrigeration and all household appliances.
