News: Nordhavn N71; Perfect Time To Purchase

Nordhavn has a vast number of models in its offering to customers and over time the yard refreshes or adds new models to the fold. In the last few years, Nordhavn has added new models like the entry level N41, the N51 , N71 and N80. The N41 has proven to be extremely popular perhaps because it is among the smaller proper passagemakers that customers can see themselves downsizing to or getting their exploration feet wet with. Much larger in terms of volume and also size is the N71 and the yard has been kept busy with the construction of several hulls from this model. In fact, there are a few units of the N71 that are currently available for purchase.

According to Nordhavn, the Ta Shing Yachts yard in Taiwan have hulls 7105, 7106, 7107 and 7108 in different phases of work. Hull 7105 is the most finished with an expected launch in January 2026. However, 7105 has a client already and will be shipped to Nordhavn headquarters in Dana Point, CA for final commissioning and delivery. Hull 7106 is available for purchase at this stage. If a client were to step in now they would be able to have her cruising for Summer into Fall 2026 as this yacht is anticipated to launch in June 2026. Below is a view of hulls 7105 and 7106.

Hull 7107 is also presently available and is expected to be ready for launch in December of 2026. This means she will be ready for delivery by Spring of 2027. Hull 7107 is suited for a customer whose needs or timing is not immediate. There also may be a small window to do a few custom touches.

Hull 7108 is the most distant away in terms of build progress. In fact, this hull is scheduled for the lamination process in July 2026. The N71 is a versatile platform and one that Nordhavn is offering with two layouts. The most common layout would be the 3 cabin version that has a skylounge. Alternately, a fourth stateroom will find its way in place of the skylounge.
