Here is a look at TUI Cruises latest ship the "Mein Schiff RELAX". She debuted to the world in March 2025. Her sistership, to be called "Mein Schiff FLOW", is currently under construction so service entry in mid-2026. These new class of ships are called the inTUItion Class.
Disney also has another ship that is about to debut this year in "Disney Destiny". She should be soon heading on her sea trials. Enjoy how her horn sounds.
Another new one that is currently under construction but coming is the "Orient Express Corinthian" (OE Corinthian). This will be a unique one for sure taking experiences usually synonymous with rail travel to the open sea. This will be the first ship coming in 2026.
"MSC WORLD AMERICA", the newest in the WORLD Class from MSC Cruises, this is the second in that class with the first being "MSC WORLD EUROPA". The Third I believe is going to be "MSC WORLD ASIA".
Oceania's newest ship to date, the "Allura" delivered this year. She is the 2nd hull to "Vista" which was delivered in 2023.
"Star of the Seas" departure from Cozumel recently. Star is the second hull in the ICON Class from Royal Caribbean. The first was "Icon of the Seas" and the third is under construction and will be called "Legend of the Seas".
As much as I admire the engineering and the technology behind these behemoths I can’t stomach going back aboard one ever again: We tried it 4 months ago in Fort Lauderdale but got claustrophobic in the middle of our fellow 3,000 passengers and 900 staff, crew and Officers. Good food, good service, etc, but after 40 years as owners and crew of small ocean going vessels, this was not our cup of tea.
