  1. Monaco Yacht Show Opening: Day 1
The world's premiere large superyacht show has opened its doors once again. The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) typically thrills and wows with displays of regular sized superyachts all the way up to 100-meter-plus behemoths. The 118.9-meter Feadship "Breakthrough" was supposed to be at the show, representing 2025's MYS largest but she was sold prior to the start of the show. For opening day ISA announced a 100-meter custom project, Tecnomar expands the Lamborghini range with a 31-meter, Lamborghini 101. Icon Yachts released another rugged explorer design, a 50-meter called MISSION-M. Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design unveiled their 141-meter concept 'Aura'. Winch Design showcases a 35-meter sailing yacht concept called 'Flowform'.
  2. Since being acquired by Palumbo Superyachts the ISA brand has been showcasing and also building much larger superyachts than we have been accustomed to from them. Already they have a couple 80-meter projects in build simultaneously that are expected to launch between 2026 and 2028. The yard now announces a 100-meter custom superyacht for delivery in 2029. This is by far the largest yacht ISA will be building and now represents the yard's flagship. The steel hull and aluminium construction will come together to an Enrico Gobbi; Team For Design config. Despite being 100-meters, the vessel will have 6 suites and a crew complement of 31. The yard is keeping the internal volume to 2,999 GT. In terms of power twin MTU diesels rated at 2,650 Kw each will drive this vessel forward to a top speed of 17-knots.
  3. The Italian Sea Group (TISG) has announced the Tecnomar Lamborghini line has become more prominent with the unveiling of a larger vessel, the Lamborghini 101 or 31-meter. “The Tecnomar Lamborghini 101 is not just a new model; it’s a vision brought to life,” commented Gianmaria Costantino, Chief Commercial Officer of The Italian Sea Group. “We have listened to the evolving desires of today’s yacht owners and translated them into an uncompromising experience. This yacht unites power, design, and identity in a single statement.” It is to be built of aluminium construction and will be able to reach a 45-knot top speed with triple MTUs onboard. This is a large step-up in offering after the initial Lamborghini 63 model.
  4. ICON Yachts is no stranger in either building or offering explorer yachts. For the Monaco Yacht Show this year, the Dutch builder has presented the "most rugged, reliable and safe explorer yacht on the market". The yacht is a 50.5-meter design called 'MISSION-M' and it is fully engineered on the yard's 50-meter technical platform. Although her interior volume has been kept to 499 GT she has still been designed to standards for yachts above 500 GT. She will have an Ice Class 1D hull and a range of 7,000 nautical miles. With the superstructure mostly forward this leaves a long and open main aft deck area. This has been engineered to be rugged and strong to deal with heavy loading for oversized tenders and equipment. A commercial folding crane with 9.6 tonne capacity and 15-meter reach will be present to move the equipment around on and off deck. Carla Guilheim is responsible for the interior design and there will be 4 suites on the lower deck for guests and an owner's apartment on the forward main deck with balcony.
  5. Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design is known for their large yacht concepts but this year for the Monaco Yacht Show they have brought concept 'Aura', a 141-meter superyacht. In a press release Sinot said, [Aura is] “conceived as a sanctuary where boundaries between inside and out dissolve, Aura elevates simplicity to ultra-bespoke minimalism”. Long and curvy forms dominate the design on the outside and a 5-deck layout above the waterline presents guests with a myriad of opportunities at sea.
  6. The interior is dominated by extreme use of glazing to provide its guests with unparalleled views. Designed with interiors that are sort-of non-traditional as far as yacht interiors go, the design has a modern vibe with Scandi-chic elements. 8 suites will provide interior lodging for 16 guests aboard. The interior itself is estimated to have a volume of 8,978 GT. The dining tables are large enough to accept the full guest complement onboard.
  7. The guest rooms onboard are designed with space in mind and with nearly 9,000 GT to work with the designers are not lacking for volume to play with for accommodation. In this example, the large King bed is positioned near the full-height glazing. Neutral and lighter tones also dominate the space and curved forms are weaved into the general flow of the design language.
  8. The 35-meter 'Flowform' concept from British studio Winch Design was also presented on opening day. “Flowform is conceived as a high-performance cruising yacht, equally at home on a family voyage or at the front of the fleet in the world’s most prestigious superyacht regattas,” said Winch Design. The concept is actually a collaboration with Frers Design who was responsible for the Naval Architecture and exterior design aspects to the design. The interior is where Winch design had responsibility. “The overall design draws guests on a journey through the yacht, each shape and form pulling them deeper into the space,” continued Winch Design.
  9. Eight guests are imagined to be accommodated onboard along with five crew members. Foglizzo & Winch leather-wrapped large headboard is dominant in the owner's suite framing the bed position and two side tables. Even though there are differing levels in the shading of brown there are enough lighter tones in the paneling, flooring and ceiling work.
