People, It still amazes me how much better the older boats look than the new clorox bottles. This boat was built in 83' and I think it looks better than all of the new Burgers out there. The only thing this one needs is a flush mounted davit and a open air aft deck. Regardless it still makes anything new look like a bad idea made worse with more money!
Classic=Old technology, old wiring, corrosion, mildew etc. Yea so what, looks are nice but when you compare the seakeeping ability, noise levels and aggravation with an older boat what is the benefit to a crew? Give me a paycheck and a newer boat. There is a huge price to pay for nostaliga in performance. And a 20 or 30 year old aluminum boat is always going to be a maintiance nightmare in saltwater to keep bristol. Some would even think that Glory is Chlorox Bottleish and that only a wooden boat would qualify for classic status.
