Tecnomar Velvet 26

YF does have a few members in Italy, so I was hoping you would get a good response ....

All that I know is what I see on their web site. Intriguing designs. My preference of the three would be the Velvet 26. The Maderas does not look up to date to me, and I don't care for the bow placement of the salon on the 83. Purely personal views of course, take with a grain of salt, if that much.

It was interesting to see that there is still a producer of good looking flybridge boats. Also that you can have a highly customized interior.

The other models are not really to my personal taste, but Tecnomar has been building fast open boats for many years so the quality is probably good enough.

Regarding Arneson drives, they are a little like waterjets, best performing at high speeds. Not for strolling at half speed.

Lars, the Nadara flybridge caught my eye too. In a yacht that size a flybridge type would more likely be my choice. But if anybody wants to gift me a 26M sport yacht I won't object! Curious that the helms for the Nadara and Velvet have a very different style -

As for taste in sport yacht design, we could have a lively debate! To be sure there are numerous other 26M Opens that sport more "features" and flash. But if clean lines and simplicity are still virtues, then the Velvet 26 is a real standout. I cannot find any other Open design that matches it.
