Indeed it is a bit strange. Wallys are usually found in Europe.

Indeed, it's a luverly concept. I'd prefer the overnight version though - without having that ugly Bertram (?) -like fold-up plastic tent.

On the minus side, these Wally tenders are "a little on the large side" for yer average 70ft trawler yacht owner wanting to carry a fast tender...?! :(

Prolly cost as much as the 70ft trawler yacht itself too...

Heck, I only used 2 emoticons + this one... ;)

PS. Wallys were not only found in Europe but in fact extremely prevalent in the Washington DC area. That is until our cousins got rid of Donald Rumsfeld & Co., and then they became rare...?! [Self-evident emoticon]

A regular sight here in Connecticut. The owner also has a very nice Wally sailboat.

Speaking of these Wally tenders.. i've been wondering if they paint these in any other colours other than the customary grey...? well i have seen the metalic copper colour as well.. but other than those.. are they any other colours? I'm sure these tenders would look good in other colours.

And just as i was about to post this i ran into the same Wally Tenders on the Wally website with a shot of them in about 4 different colours. This now satisfies the answer to my question.

I'd imagine they (Wally) will paint a tender any color the buyer would like... especially when they want the tender to match the primary Wally. ;)
