There is a new large sloop under construction at Royal Huisman. This one -at 85-meters- will be larger than the Sea Eagle II project -81-meters- and has been given build number 410. The design is by Frers Design and Wetzels Brown. The project was announced in the Spring of 2022 but because of the yacht's immense scale the yard has had to do some modification and enlargement of their facilities to accommodate the build. Construction work on Project 410 will start before summer this year, as scheduled. Logistical and preparatory planning for the build of the 85-meter/280-foot hull has included lengthening both construction Hall 2 and the Advanced Carbon Composites Hall at the shipyard’s newbuild headquarters in Vollenhove. Additional offices have been built to accommodate the engineering and production team and the owner’s representatives.
