Dare I ask how much it cost, SkyDriver? I saw some absolutely ridiculous parking prices today... $300 near show entrance. $100 for condo garages 2 blocks away. $80 for public garages 3 blocks away! $40 for the courthouse garage, which is a 20 minute walk to the show. I parked 4 blocks north of Quatrille along a side street north of Palm Beach Yacht Club. About a half mile walk but parking was free, so no complaints.

It was $40, saw $20 about 10 blocks away.
Got there at 9:10, leaving at 1:00 it was closed due to being full.
I didn't like paying more than the ticket price, but having knee replacement last fall it was still worth for me.

Went today to the show and parking that normally is 14.00 for valet was 125.00 on Clematis, 101 N Cleamits was 80.00 where we parked, up 2 block from Flagler next garage was 40.00. Wife said just park as she needed to use restroom. LOL. We looked at 3 Hatteras all Motor Yachts, 2009 72’, 2017 75’ and 2018 60’. She like the 72 enclosed bridge and interior layout over the 75. Very poor show layout, none of the docks were labeled with names or numbers and no maps were available had to use phone for show map and was hard to read.

Tri-rail or Brightline is the way to go.....station is 3 blocks from the show. No parking, no traffic, no BS. Easy peasy.

Have to agree with you CaptJ, this may be the best solution now and in the years to come. For the past 20 years, the PB Show has been easy to park, easy to walk and affordable. Not anymore! Part of the problem is the lack of open space parking lots that were plentiful in years past. Now condos are being built on these lots. Construction traffic is compounded with boat show traffic and an ever-growing population. The people working the show are likely taking most of the parking spaces.

A lot of the people I saw on the docks both Thursday and Friday were industry types. There were a few brokers walking with buyers and of course, there was a strong contingent of Palm Beach professionals who have made a career out of precious metal mining. ;)

    Love your description !

Must be Palm Beach etiquette. Miami & NYC use different terms.

I used to park at the Florida Crystals building, which seemed expensive at $50, ridiculous at $100. This year it was $200, or $300 if you want VIP. I decided it was better and cheaper to Uber back and forth to Jupiter Island. A lot more restful on the way back after a long day at the show.
