I had not seen the article or announcement.

Guess I am scratching my head. For all the Ian damage in the area the marinas with floating docks took the hardest hit. I always thought floating docks would be better in a storm, but not what I saw from results there. Oh well, guess that shows how much I know.

Floating docks work if the pilings are really tall otherwise once the storm surge lifts the docks above the pilings it s game over. Some marinas have tube slide on the pilings which will extend higher when the docks push up. Problem is that the higher it goes the more leverage you get on the pilingsā€¦

You can expect dockage rates to double with Suntex at the helm.

Quite frankly I'm expecting everything to double. They always has the best fuel prices in the area, I suspect they will become the most expensive by the time they're done.

Nope, she's snug as a bug in a building right now.

    Solution: Floating Pilings.

But I do prefer a floating dock...

Ingenious!o_O Whatt ? Sounds like you're enjoying yourself celebrating the 50th anniversary release of Dark Side of the Moon with a nice cocktail and what ever else on this lovely Sunday aboard your vessel?

We always stay there when crossing Okeechobee going or coming. Nice plans to rebuild.
