Working on our ole Bertram again.
I have yet to find anybody to support this sliding window track / channel in my area.

    Glass is ¼” wide.

The weather brushes are about 1/8” tall with a rigid plastic back. This plastic back slides into a track on both sides of the window.

In the picture you can see the frame ground away giving access to remove and insert these brushes.

A groove on the bottom appears to hold a rigid and short T shaped plastic (nylon?) strip that the glass sits and slides on. The bottom of the short T is pressed into this groove and the glass sits on top of this strip.

In the pictures you can see this grove with the remains of the crumbled Ts bottom still in the groove.

The window near 4’ x 4’, does have some weight and is sitting on the alloy frame with no protection.

This is 44 years old. I hope some of you kids in the larger boat business may have seen this stuff before. I’ve never noticed it on any other boat I have worked on.

Thank you for your time and thoughts
    Ralph

I've invited a few window people to look this over thru the years. No Joy.
Looking at my new Steele Products catalogue, nothing in there either.

Looked thru their web site and catalogues. They may have the brushes. I'll pull out my micrometer and measure what I can.
I did not see anything for the plastic strip the window rest and slides on.
Thank you for your time and thoughts
