Feadship mentioned the heavy lift crane in one of the press releases that it was used to lift the stern over the graving docks entrance sill on the float out.
I've not read any specs for draft 1010 but it apparently maxed out the Makkum facility's draft capabilities for the graving docks door sill and the fact that they left the rig on the stern for the trip to the Ijsselmeer says that there must be some thin spots going out of the canal departing the facility.

I think that's some extremely expensive compound curved glass up there that more than likely came from Zeiss after exhaustive testing and sign offs from classification societies. Certainly a functional element of the yacht.

My first thought was that it is an observation lounge but who knows, could be a gym space as well.

Main mast has been installed a while now and also...I think we have a name for 1010. Rumoured to be "Katyusha". If so...it is perhaps Russian ownership or someone that likes that culture.

"Katyusha" has already been conducting sea trials. Currently though she is alongside in Den Helder.

Not to my knowledge. Currently moored in Harlingen. Likely getting the final installations and fitments.

She is basically completed but i'm not sure that she can be delivered directly to the same owner as is. Maybe they will find some other way around it.

Since there isn't any new footage of this yacht here is a look back at the first sailing of 1010.
