Always been an issue on Sea Rays of all sizes.... they let you reach something like a pump with one hand only.

Any opinion on Absolute yachts? Theyhave IPS drives which you disqualify them in my book after my experience with them but what about the rest of the boat? If this has already been discussed, point me to the thread to spare you all the repetition. Thank you in advance.

I bought mine a 2015 L650FLY a few months ago Sea ray was Excellent in helping with the survey issues and itstill has 4 years of hull warranty ... I also had 2 years of CAT concierge warranty.. That being said it did have a few problems including a couple of spots of delamination which Sea ray fixed and a couple of spots of dry Fiberglass in the bow thruster tunnel area which Sea Ray fixed and while they were at it they replaced the working hydraulic Bow thruster with a new one because they felt it had run dry and sea ray did all of that under warranty on a 6 year old boat..at zero cost to me or the seller and I did not buy it through a Searay dealer ... Although I am a very longtime Sea Ray customer
which i doubt made any difference...

I am completing my second season with my L650FLY..... We have completed about 300 hours and still have a few months left on the Cat warranty but i plan to add another year . we have made two round trip tours of the Chesapeake bay and 3 trips from Florida or to Florida. The boat has served US well with no real issues (other than what would be expected from any boat)I have the boat up to date on services and plan to pull the boat and have a good surveyor go over it .. Then `will put it on the Market .. I did add the two single seats Stidd seats at flybridge helm which makes a big difference to me.. We could not be happier with the boat . However its time to move on to something else...
Also I really love the hydraulic thrustors they are very good on this boat..
jason fifield and ChiTown like this.
