I'm a new owner of a 40 Cabo Convertible and I wanted to find out if anyone knows what circuit powers the exhaust fan in the forward bilge area below the guest bunk room deck. It appears to be a factory installation including an exhaust tube as well.
It must be powered off one of the light switches in the guest head or is there a switch under the vanity?
Should be bottom switch in the row of light switches. Same goes for Master. Also the fans are just computer fans and I replaced both during ownership.
Just checked both the guest and master head exhaust fans and neither function. Where did you find the replacement fans?
I am trying to find how to turn on the exhaust fan in both bathrooms and the kitchen. It seems they have a switch at the bathroom, but the exhaust do not turn all. They might be bad, but I find it odd that none of them are working and they seem to be in good condition. Any thoughts?
The fans for both heads are controlled by the bottom light switches in each bathroom. The fans are physically in the bilge area below each vacuflush toilet. The fans can be purchased on Amazon. I will send you part numbers tomorrow.
See attached photo of the fans I purchased to replace both. You can see in the photos above you have to remove the the existing fans from the forward bilge area, disassemble the fan housings and install the new fans. The most difficult issue is the limited space in the forward bilge area.
The galley fan is in the electronics space, stbd side which is accessed via the removable overhead panel in the guest stateroom. Is your Cabo a 40' or a 43'?
