News: Turkish Yard AES 26M Yacht

Turkish builder AES is presently keeping themselves busy with a few builds going on at the same time. Perhaps the best known of those three is the 68-meter superyacht expected to be named "Days". However, the yard has another two vessels in various stages of construction. A 34.6-meter which the hull and superstructure are complete and is presently fitting out with delivery expected for second quarter 2023 while the third is a 26-meter vessel due in 2024. This vessel is what we are looking closer at in this article.

The AES 26-meter is designed by AES with an interior by Hot Lab. In fact, Hot Lab is involved in all three builds, namely, the interior. The AES 26-meter is presently under construction as NB067. A pair of Cummins diesels are onboard to propel the vessel to 11-knots. Yes, it is not very quick but what the 26-meter lacks in speed it makes up for in efficiency that translates into range. At 8-knots, this vessel can travel 6,000 nautical miles.

NB067 is actually still in the engineering phase getting ready for material cutting in another month or so. She will then be put together in time for 2024. Four cabins will be onboard for the owner and guests to have overnight lodging. The owner will have a full-beam master suite on the forward main deck while three other cabins will take care of 6 guests for a total of 8 guests if the master suite is used for guest use. Two crew cabins will sleep 4 crew members. The 34.6-meter/NB066 is scheduled for delivery in May 2023. Below is a render of it.
