After using both Ocean Breeze and Flagship chillers on refit projects in the last 5 years I can say that Flagship manufactures a superior product even though I was a big booster of Ocean Breeze's product prior for price point and perceived quality and have posted about them positively in the past. I purchased twin 10 ton chillers in a vertical frame in 2017 from Ocean Breeze and had OB company installers do the installation. Four yrs in and the vessel has had the bottom unit condenser failure with catastrophic results plus numerous unnecessary problems control circuit wise. Ocean Breeze's defense was the sea water pump had to much flow / GPM (even though they specified the pumps / GPM and sold the pumps) The quality of the basic materials used by Flagship are superior and are heavier / wall thickness on condensers and raw water stacks etc. I found Flagship easier to deal with on a professional level but don't make the mistake of asking Flagship to paint / Awl Grip their units or they'll freak out on you! :)

Flagship products are just beautiful… work of art. Yeah there re unpainted but all that heavy stainless steel doesn’t need it.

I also like how all controls are off the shelf. Simple
Relays and transformers along with the Tstat. I ve replaced a couple of transformers on air handlers but they’re a few bucks on Amazon.

and the drain pains on the air handlers are tilted so condensation drains quickly. Imagine that. Cruisair never thought of it.
