Does anyone know where there might be some old wooden Post 40's? I am looking to scrounge some usable parts off some derelict boats. I have a 1971 Post 40. Wooden beast. She still floats even. If I can find some old parts to scavenge, it would be great. I am in Virginia. Who knows where they are sitting?

There was one sitting in a yard in Chesapeake City MD rotting away but I haven't been down to that marina in a long time.
Harbour North Marina, Chesapeake City MD (where boats go to die!)

Lots of parts are common from builder to builder where they sourced their hardware, etc. What kind of parts are you looking for?

I wood (get it) love to see some pictures of your Post.
It might even be super cool to post some detailed photos of your wooden Post for historical reasons.

There is a looks to be 1970's 42' on the hard in Fort Lauderdale. Last time I saw activity on board was a few years ago, appeared like the owner was full time restoring her. Now just sitting dormant.
