Laid-Up, Abandoned, Long Build Time

    Construction began on this yacht in 1975.

    "Bella T" now going to auction again.
    It has been laid-up and not completed for these 46 yrs and may hold the record for the longest time between keel-laying and completion.

    What other, and how many other yachts have long lay-up times or have gone abandoned and incomplete?
    Any other examples and photos?

    A 150' classic German Frers designed SY, half-finished by Derecktor in the late 90ies before the owner went to jail, is still bobbing around somewhere on Long Island Sound, I believe.

    there is a trinity hull that was never finished after they closed the doors.. it is offered for sale every so often in one of the yacht magazines
