    Hi All,

    I’m looking to buy a Monte Carlo MC5 2016

I ran one for a dealer a few years ago. The layout of the boat was ok with a nice sized master and good sized VIP for a 50' boat. Outside of that it wasn't a very good sea boat, gets blown around an awful lot around the docks as it's pretty light weight with a lot of windage. It was cooler out so I had to run from the lower helm. You could really hear the water rushing under the boat as they're laid up fairly light. If you're planning on spending more time at the dock or in protected water, the boat may be fine.

Thanks, mostly local, I don’t think I’ll be at ruff sea a lot, this helps

I would definitely get on some other boats in its or a better class and see how they compare as far as quality, accessibility (when things inevitably break), and layout.

It’s interesting that I can’t find to many reviews about the boat, there are like 5 for sale but I wish I could read more reviews

I have not been on one but there is one that spends a lot of time in saugatuck MI. I have thought they are decent looking boats and I always give them a second look. I’ll be curious to what you find out.
