    Have a 112' motor yacht.
    Two fresh water pumps made by Headhunter.

    Pumps turn off, at the pump, at any given moment.

    Accumulator tank is fine.

    Ongoing issue for a year...

    Any thoughts??

    Call headhunter. They have a great customer service department. Sounds like you may have an air leak on the suction side or suction hose that's collapsing or blocked at times, maybe even a clogged tank vent.

    Sounds like an air leak. Start by purging. Full tank. Open 4 or 5 faucets. Turn on one pump, let it build pressure. Turn off the breaker for 10 seconds. Turn it back on. Repeat 6 or 7 times Procedure is described on the web site. Repeat with the other pump.

    Also, bleed all pressure and check the air pressure in your expansion tank if you have one.

    So far so good Capt J and Pascal!
    Looks like the accumulator tank was never pressurized correctly.

    While accumulator tanks are nice to have, this pump usually works great with-out one.
    I'm wondering it the tank is covering up an issue, still a low side air leak.

    But, If it's working, My next comments would be;
    Never kick a sleeping dawg..

    Go and have more fun..
