We’re getting standing water in the lower portion of the galley cabinet above the sink. The upper shelf is bone dry and the compartments fore and aft are also dry. This has happened twice in the past 2 weeks after really heavy rain storm. Trying to figure out where/how the water is coming in. Any experience with this capillary attraction mystery on your boats?

Its coming in from the front side window. Check the caulk, do you have the old style windows?

Windows are the original sliders (3 panels). The previous owner filled the tracks/channels with caulk. Where should I look to find the leak?

Post had used plastic track on most of the window frames. They were tacked down and the weight of the glass held them down. When I pulled my glass out I found that the side of the pilot house where it joins the inside of the wood was wet. The joint where these to come together had a separation from the yrs of use and water sat there. I had the same issue on the Starboard side and water was getting in the closets as well. Found many Post owners had the same issue. The only thing to do is dig all the caulk out and redo it from top to the bottom, or change it so the window does slide and make them solid that's what I did. I never had a leak after that.
