Problem #1; Well, It's a Mut. Factory support is near non-existent in the states. Problem #2; Any support in the states comes from Marine Max (a problem it self). I used to work on smaller Muts in North Florida. From the service end, they drew lots of blood and no 2 were alike. Each still hard to work on. There are many Mut lovers here on YF. I'm sure they can explain its ownership is still a challenge. Please offer year and options to help these kids help you. If there is an on-line ad, please attache it also. Cheers
https://www.**************/boats/1999/azimut-85-ultimate-3841728/ Is this her ?? Lots of pictures. Sure is pretty. Not much mechanical data in the ad. Find the previous engineer and buy him a nice dinner. Get some feel on the engines, gen-sets, ships maintenance and up-grades. If you like him, consider keeping him and at least the ETO on board. Separate from the Cook, Stews and deck officer(s), your going to need them. Anybody know the broker? I worry when his companies name changes.
Don't know them or anything about them, but it's not a change in entity, just simply a change in the name of the LLC. Legally filed with the state as a name change of an existing LLC. I don't know if the members have changed at all or not.
Well it’s old enough that all the lesser quality build issues might be fixed., as long as the boat has been being used and not sitting. Survey the heck out of it. The price point is what it is. $900k for an 85 footer isn’t going to be a top quality boat, but you could still have slot of fun. Just make sure you have $200-$300k a year to support the fun.
