    All,
I am still working out the kinks of this old girl. 1993 380 Tournament Open. I have got to take her out the other day for a good old sea trial. Before I bought her, I knew she had the saddle tanks removed before. I was assuming that the main tank was much larger than it is. So what size was the main tank? I ended up measuring the tank and came up with about 350 gal. I then run the tanks down to almost nothing. 2" off the bottom. I could only get about 280 gal in the main tank. A real shocker. I need more fuel on the boat.
    • So does anyone have the original measurements for those saddle tanks?
    • How were the fuel lines run?
    • What kind of fuel usage should I expect out of the 6-71 Detroit?
    • Does anyone have a fuel curve?
    • If I get a fuel bladder, does anyone know how much weight the bow might handle?

You might want to send a PM to Andy Sav. I believe he recently bought the same boat. Might have some answers for you.

What HP and brand of detroits do you have? You need that in order to get a proper fuel curve.
