I was just shopping for fuel.
My Waterway Guide on-line subscription has a fuel price section and you can pick your area. Was impressed, it’s lists last updated date, so you know how current it is.

Anyway to my upper bay friends .
North Point Marina , Rock Hall.
$2.14 but is “older load” fuel .
Not sure how old it is. Possibly last fall perhaps?
Fuel should be OK?...not sure whether to chance it myself.
What’s your take on it ?

New load coming in next week as told to me by yard manager.

I had to call to make sure it wasn’t a typo.

Probably fuel delivered before winter. I would take a few samples every couple hundred gallons while fueling and check for water. Otherwise nice savings

North Point is the only fuel dock in Rock Hall Harbor, Although Swan Creek marinas do have fuel too but a whole 15 minute ride away.
North Point sells a lot of fuel. It may be last falls delivery but its not like its 2 yrs old. Its in a nice cool take underground and it would be no different than the fuel in your boat tank , winterized, over the off season.
Disclosure : I know the folks there and IMO they are good people.

    Good to here from you.
    Yes point well taken.
I’ll be running on last years fuel from CM just to get there.
Good to know that they move fuel.
That being said she’s getting a fresh load in soon and it’s going up.
Will see if I make it in time. Might be all gone.
I’m a few days out . Blabber Mouth me has local Captains like you heading there now !
Nice weekend to roll on down the Chester in that Post of yours and fill up.

It's kind of a haul from the Bay to Skipjack though and on the week ends that river is like I-95 during rush hour.

Yes it is. 12 miles I believe from the mouth to Skipjack.
I was a slip holder there a few different times over the years.
Along with Greggneck and Sassafras boat yard.
    Yes it does get busy.
I’ve learned to generally hold my corse and the on coming traffic generally gets the idea and move over to their side of the channel.
But that doesn’t always work out. Some just run on the wrong side of the “road “.
I’ve spent many a year on that river from my dad’s boats to mine.

Wow! I’m jealous. I’ll pay north of $3/gallon and likely close to $4 by mid season.
