Pearl Yachts. Please share info/opinions

I noticed a recent news item here on a Pearl 62. I'm not that familiar with Pearl. However, while we're not currently looking for another boat, we will be searching for a new boat to do the Great Loop. We did it last time in a Sunseeker Manhattan 65 and a Sunseeker Manhattan 66 then would be the logical nest boat. However, some actions by Sunseeker and it's dealers have left us disenchanted. Well, the 62 seems to have an incredible layout and good performance. Sleeps 8 even without the crew area. 33 knots top speed. I compare it to the Sunseeker and it comes out very favorable. So, what does anyone here know about their build quality, about the company and it's ownership, it's financial stability? I'd love any insight anyone might have. How did the company start?

They have, in addition to the 62, an 80 and a 95 in the line and both seem very nice. As to the 62, it's much smaller than the Manhattan 65 was as it's a 61' LOA vs. a 69' LOA. However, it doesn't seem so and I attribute some of that to their excellent use of IPS space savings. Fuel capacity and range is a bit bothersome. Draft of 3'3" sounds unbelievable.

Just an interesting builder I'd love to know more about.
