Has anyone rebuilt or repaired the sliding door on the 36C ? I have a 2000 36 convertible and for the last several years the outside paint on the middle of the door has begun to wear off as the door is opened and closed. I am thinking it needs some replacement gasket or something but I am a bit wary of just unscrewing stuff to see what I find.

I have the same in my 2000 36 convertible. When I took my couch out to redo the floor it was so disgusting behind the couch. The carpet was a disaster too

Have you tackled the door yet?
Yeah, when I was looking around back there to see what I needed to dismantle to get to the door I found a petrified lime slice... from some long ago party... :(

It's your boat. Go for it. Just take pics at each stage and keep track of the parts. Btw, DK your boat but sliding doors can often be removed simply by lifting them and pulling out the bottom. With some you need to bring it to the full open position.
