  1. Hull 10238 Starts Construction At Baglietto
The first hull in the new 52-meter T-Line from Italian yard Baglietto is officially underway with the keel-laying ceremony taking place recently. The vessel under construction is Hull 10238 and will remain in build until completion slated for 2023. The design as seen below is by long-time collaborator Francesco Paszkowski Design and is really a subtle evolution of the Baglietto T-Line.
  2. The keel of the hull was actually laid towards the end of 2020 just prior to the holidays. Below is a photo from the keel-laying ceremony. Her hull and diesel-electric propulsion systems will ensure this vessel has options when it comes to taking its European owner around the world. Batteries onboard are expected to be able to run the vessel while at anchor for up to ten hours. This should comfortably allow for hotel-load to operate overnight allowing owner and guests to sleep comfortably with no generator hum. A pair of MTU 16V 2000 M86 are her diesel powerplants and by themselves should permit a 3,600 nautical mile range and a top speed of 17-knots. Should extended range be needed for the mission diesel-electric mode stretches the T52 to a 7,600 nautical mile territory.
  3. Onboard, guests can enjoy a multiplicity of amenities but one of the features this yard is pushing about the T-Line 52 is its open, three-tier beach club on the stern. Located at the stern of the vessel the area has three distinct zones all in the same general region just separated by a couple of steps. The uppermost zone features a pool that when not in use can be transformed into more deck space for lounging or even a dance floor thanks to an original high-low pool floor. The second or middle zone has the day beds for guests to laze and relax themselves on and the lowest zone which is closest to the water is basically the swim platform which is perfect for boarding the tender, or jumping into the water from. Once the transom door is opened fully, there is an automatic swim ladder than comes out from the door allowing for easy re-boarding from the sea.
  4. Other features onboard include a sky lounge on the upper deck can be opened on three sides and features a retractable ladder to connect the sun deck and the upper deck at the bow. On the bow there is ample dedicated space for guest relaxation with a mixture of sunpads and informal built-in seating lined with comfortable cushions. The first T52 is expected to be delivered in 2023 but there is also another T-Line vessel in build slated for delivery in 2023 as well.
