    8V2000 in a 2004 Azimut 62 starboard, needs rebuild. Blown. 600 hours.
Listed as engine failure, but just assume blown and needs rebuild. Any ideas. In Miami, FL. Looking to purchase and desire an estimated cost.

600 hours? That’s low. You must assume they were run hard and that the port engine isn’t far behind.

Unless there are compelling reasons to own THAT boat I would run away. The dual re-engine/rebuild (Pascal is right) would put you so far in the hole that you would have to spend your summer vacation in it for the next 75 years to break even.

I can only add to the previous comments that if you like the boat, you'd better look for one with Cat C-18.
That was in fact a much more appropriate powerplant for the boat.
