  1. Feadship 708 Makes Brief Appearance Enroute To Outfitting
One of Feadship's latest yachts made its way through the waterways of the Netherlands enroute to the Aalsmeer yard after it was launched from the hull-building facility in Papendrecht. The superyacht is being built for an exploration-avid owner and has its design penned by Philippe Briand. The interior is the work of a company called Boutsen Design. With the hull made of steel hardened to Ice Class intended to allow the yacht to navigate in waters of the North West and North East passages. Hull 708 as she is known as while under construction will benefit from advanced stabilization. In fact one of the largest gyroscopic stabilization solutions will be fitted onboard this vessel. Feadship suggests it will perhaps weigh around 20 to 22 tonnes.
  2. The long aft main deck will be home to a 6.9-tonne submarine which is to be lifted in and out of the water by a 7.7-tonne capacity crane. Also, the limo tender and the owner's vehicle will be removed and retrieved via this method. Forward-looking sonar will be implemented onboard allowing them to scan the sea floor. Seen in these images the yacht was being towed to the Feadship yard in Aalsmeer where the vessel will move into the fit-out phases ahead of her launching and completion towards the end of 2021.
