I love it when you guys do all the work for me!! :):D
chesapeake POST man 46 and CR thank you very much. I will add it to my get to it list for this fall/winter projects. BUT I will print out the info so I have it handy. I will call Microair to see what they might have also.
Ralph I am ''my'' AC guy! and I'm very anti-Dometic:mad:, they know how to charge$. I can skin the cat other ways.
Going to do the carpeting through out the boat this fall that includes the glued on stuff on the bulk heads, port window areas, etc. I've got a carpet guy for this and I will be his helper.

The fan is set up to follow the demand.
It idles when the temperature is met at a low rpm.
Speeds up as the thermostat calls for more heat/ cold.
You can also set it to run full blast all the time if you wish.
It has an " Away" feature also to keep the humidity down when you are away.
I have never had to use this feature where we are.

I do all mine and customers also. Under a shops licenses.
Sadly, the rent and cost of operation that went away closing and moving out of our last shop, did justify the trashing of old inventory.
I'm still going thru the last of the electronics that I have to keep trashing.

ie; Great sweet large NorthStar display with a large 4kw radome w/ blue box interface.
It's going to yank a tear, in the trash next Wednesday night.

Sorry to keep bothering you, but let's say at night , I can be a light sleeper, when the compressor kicks on to cool, will the fan stay idle or will it always increase a bit , say half way? I'm not sure I will like the up and down of the fan speed. Or is it very subtle, at night.
Can I set the fan to low all the time, as apposed to full blast ?

Yep. Microair makes all of these electronic components, including thermostats, can bus systems, etc. Good folks.

Pretty sure all of that is made by Microair. My entire control network on the Technicold chiller systems aboard is theirs.

Usually, the fans speed and noise can be set to min / max. Looks like these units are darn close to the ole PassPort settings,

The fan runs a a low speed when the temp is satisfied and does jump to full speed when the stat calls for temp change both heat and air.
As the temps begin to come to spec the fan slows gradually until it's at a low rpm.
My wife hated that for the same reason as you and I changed it to blow full bore constantly.
Leaving the fan on low when the stat is calling for cold would prolly freeze up the evaporator.
There may be other settings, the instruction manuals on on the site that I linked I believe.

Yes I read up on the instructions on the site you sent thank you.
Think I’m going to hold off for now and put my money into the carpeting for now.
    I would need two controls.
But my old three knob original units are still working fine and I think more resilient than the new digital control which offers too much information and trickery that I really don’t care about right now. Although they are quite impressive at the things they can do.

I will hold onto this for future use.

I sometimes lock mine into sort of a medium range air movement by the fan at night while I sleep. Keeps the room cool and any movement or sound consistent.
