    The Annapolis yacht basin fuel dock can be tied up for days fueling up 130’ and up motor yachts this time of year.
    I topped off my Eastbay last week. 1.84 a gallon. That is a bargain.

    We have always found A.Y.B. to be a great place to stay including good/great fuel costs. The staff there is always top notch.

    That is a good price, they are always very competitive there. It's always between them and Annapolis City Marina on fuel price it seems.
    $2.39 here in Cape May and that is the valve tech diesel at one place- Mill Creek, and also $2.39- Miss Chris dock, for regular diesel .

    I paid $1.66 off the truck for diesel yesterday in NY. If this isn't the season to be racking up hours on the mains, I don't know what is.

    Problem with Annapolis is it's too nice. Of all my runs through the Chesapeake I've only been able to get dockage there 3 times.:) Love walking that town. Great Irish pub too.

    No problem finding space this year unless you are over 100'. A few boats in the 150 range were anchored waiting for space.

    We've been there with different boats, up to 130', and always found space but arranged well ahead of time. We've also taken monthly rentals during a summer when we knew we'd be in and out so rather than taking a few days here and a few there, we just took two months and would let them use the space for others when we weren't there, so essentially double rent it. Expensive route to go but was worth it to make Annapolis our Chesapeake home.

    Always my favorite place to visit on the bay ! That tree was a mere sapling in the back bar of McGarvey's when I first started going to Annapolis, and it held me up a few times during my pre and post 21 year old days.:):eek:
    I've always gotten docking or a mooring buoy no matter the time of year, even boat show weekend(got dockage at South Annapolis Yacht Center,old Sarles Yard and A.Y.B)...Ahh to be only 42' it has it's advantages! Lol.
    I like to go up Spa Creek ( through the bridge) and usually get a mooring buoy, if I can not get a space on the City dock- Ego Alley. No rocking around up there, like in the main harbor. You can also anchor up there, on your own. I think all mooring buoys are for 45' boats and under? I'm not sure could be 50' and under?

    I like taking the rubber boat up Spa creek and look around.
    Interesting properties and boats up there.
    Always a nice little cruise.

    In early March when oil prices fell, we got diesel for .95 on the new river (1000 gal price). Everyone was locked down but still took 3 days to schedule as everyone was toping off.

    Next day put some side line cash into XOP oil index fund which is now up 38%.

    $1.51+ %6 tax @ American Custom Yachts; Stuart, Fl. I stopped by on my way through the Okeechobee Waterway to Fort Myers. They pump 24 hrs a day. Right next to the 1st lock going West, they also have a transient slip.

    $1.60 yea but a pump out is $300. :)
    That diesel price is a record low for sure.

    AFAIK Piney Narrows Yacht Haven, Kent Narrows is @ $1.75ish with the frequent fueler/friends and family discount program. YMMV

    A bit irrelevant to today, but remember paying $0.105 per gallon around 1970 on family commercial river push boat for thousands of gallons mid stream. Before first oil embargo. No taxes either. Lot of $’s have been going to the Middle East since then.
