Received news that long time boat builder Bob Rosciolli passed away, possibly from Covid complications. :(

That’s a shock I spoke to him on the phone just a few months ago.

He had experienced health issues the past couple of years but always returned to work. However, he had tested positive for Covid 19.

A recent statement and quote that now is sadly ironic.

Roscioli Yachting Center and Roscioli Donzi never closed. “The boat industry is resilient — it’s something you can’t kill,” Bob Roscioli says. The company had no layoffs, is emphasizing social distancing, and has its cafeteria open so workers stay on the premises. “We’re blessed. We have so much work it’s incredible,” he says. “We need trade help in every category — plumbers, carpenters, electricians, everything.”

That's a shame as he's another (somewhat) pioneer in the boat building industry.

Very sad news to hear. My experience with him, he was a gentlemen and very reachable. His legacy will live on.
