Does anyone know this camper Nicholsons 50

We bought a Camper & Nicholson Endevour 42 open with twin VP IPS 600 factory new in the UK in 2010. The boat was indeed built in Italy at the Lago di Garda, to our knowledge in the Riva Yard. The boat was also available at that time with 6-Cyl. Yanmars and shaft and wheel.



The 12 metric ton boat was bought by us as a commuter and to be used in the Hamburg harbour and on the Elbe river. A great boat with sparkling performance (32 Kts cruise / 36 Kts WOT. Superp overall quality and top quality equipment. Extraordinary external and internal wood work. It was used for 5 years in this area and for that purpose by the whole family. It is now (after a complete refit) stationed on my shadow in underdeck storage as an onboard tender. Still working flawless and far too good for northern waters and weather.

I have seen and been on board the 50 pilothouse during a Palma Boat show. Same quality and perfect styling. The boat was offered with bigger VP IPS or MAN / Cat with shafts. The boat on Yachtworld looks like being in great shape. Only a Hinkley could beat that yacht. It is definately worth a survey and a sea trial.

I have no idea wheather the production line is still open. Never heard of them again.

2013 54' express cruiser for $650,000. is very cheap. 2006 Eastbay 49's sell for $650.
The large engine room vents in the hull sides are concerning. Hope they have a de mister on the inside.
14'7" is narrow but I guess that is how they get all that speed with small power.

It sure as hell isn't practical!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'd need a full time experienced mate on that thing, just to keep the woodwork up.
