Newer Sea Ray or Meridians 40' to 50'. Opinions on build quality?

    OB made that statement almost 3 years ago. It is still true today.
    Myself, Never was wild about them but the learning process from the great predecessor ; Bayliner,, proved value could be had in repetitive tooling and mas production. They are good boats. Some on this forum have much taller thoughts on them.

    Sadly, I think Meridians are not built,,, again.

    Probably the best from US Yacht, The Bayliner motor yachts and their copies in the Meridian line, hold extreme high values and use in their segments.

    And of course, the Trophy line, That I am still a believer in, was a great fishing package still sought after.
    Still looking for another 2860, hard top, I/O or converted OB.

    So, Scott; Keep digging in our old stuff and remind us of our past thoughts.
