Other than dimensions, do y'all have any suggestions about what features to look for in a stackable washer dryer pair? I've heard mixed reviews about Splendide brand... Thanks you!

Splendide is a combo unit, not a stackable and much smaller capacity plus poorer drying ability. Splendide is when you don't have space for even a stackable. I'd suggest any stackable brand over any combo unit.

Make sure you measure the access path as well. Sometimes builders install large alliances before finishing the interior.

Splendid washer dryers are indeed combo all in one units. They come in two versions, vented or unvented. The unvented models don’t dry well but the vented version do. I had a vented splendid for 10 or 12 years and it worked great although capacity is smaller than stackables.

Yes, not only this but when you choose the units you want to use, go make a template and walk it into place from the dock before you make the purchase. There are good European appliances available that are built to fit small spaces.

+1 on the Euro gear. Better two under-counter units like Bosch or Asko mounted one above the other. Just be sure to read the manual on the washer before making a purchase decision. Some don't allow the use of chlorine bleach.

Go with whirlpool duet washers and dryers from lowe's if you want the best situation for stacking and longevity and quality of use. The splendide units suck. Clothes either not dry enough or dried way too long and damaged. For the old style apartment style stacked units, whirlpool also.

She's looking for a stackable washer/dryer. For a 68' Lazzara of which, I've inspected several for a customer as well as seatrial surveyed one. Some models of the Whirlpool duets fit in the same space as what was there and are easier to get in and out as they're 2 seperate units. The 68' Lazzara had an apartment sized traditional washer with dryer on top......Whirlpool I believe if memory serves me right.
