I want to add a wash down hose up in the anchor locker, Has anyone done it yet? I think this jabsco would holder would work.

My main question is with plumbing. How did you run the line and where did you tap in to the fresh water pressure?

Do you hold enough fresh water or have a watermaker so as to have enough fresh water to make this useful? Does it need to be fresh water or can use a raw water wash down pump?

I wish I was more familiar with your boat, but obviously whatever water source you have that is farthest forward is where you would have to get to tap in. Maybe your head in fwd stateroom? You may find it easier to get just add a windshield spray bar or make a simple one as your fresh water source may be closer to the windshield then up in your chain locker? I installed wipers with a washdown and it is very handy to have a button to push and get a fresh water rinse on the glass while underway when getting a lot of spray. You could make something easy enough. All you need is a small pipe or tube with holes drilled in it mounted toward the top of your windshield.

I hate those hoses. Always tangle and my new one on the bow already has pin holes everywhere,,,, again.. It's stored in a locker and does not see the sun but minutes a month.

I agree about the coil hoses being a pain in the a$$, but it would be really nice to give the glass a quick spray off. Also spray the anchor if needed.

I need to remove the front mirror over the bed. I think it gives access to the area around/under the anchor locker. From there maybe I can figure out how to pull a water line up there.

I will take pics to share.

Surprised to hear about the hoses cracking or issues. I have two of the horizontal mount Hose Coil units mounted in my cockpit. One is fresh water wash down, the other is raw water wash down. I think I installed them 8 years ago now. No issues and really like them. We use the raw water wash down a ton and I like how it coils along the side if you have to just drop it while working the deck or a fish. Maybe others have issues from UV damage on the hose. Not much sun where I am :)
