In getting ready for the season, I have been doing a lot of maintenance on the 50. A few weeks ago BigChief and I were reinstalling the intercooler and heat exchanger, we noticed a broken wire on a sensor that is attached to the exhaust elbow. This sensor is attached to a stainless plate that is welded to the exhaust elbow right above where the raw water is dumped in to mix with the exhaust. I have pulled the sensor off but there are no clear markings as to manufacturer or part number.

Does anyone know anything about this sensor and where to get a replacement? I assume that if I fire up the engine, I am going to get a sensor so I need to try and figure this out before I seatrial everything in a few weeks.

    Marine Exhaust Systems. Sam's also.
They will need to know if it is NO or NC.

Perfect, Thank You! That was exactly what I was looking for.

Now back to the engine room while we wait for the Toilet Paper Armageddon to calm down...

In case anyone looks this up in the future, the switches in the 50 were NO.
