It looks like the Trinity "Bacarella" had an incident involving a helicopter that was trying to land on it. The aircraft was trying to land on the helipad and shortly before it rolled and crashed into the sea with three occupants onboard. Photos by Espen Haagensen and Tor Høvik. For those new to YF, we did a review on the Bacarella, you can check that out at the below link.

Another Trinity yacht goes under the gavel...this time the 57-meter M/Y "Lady Sara". It will be auctioned off in Fort Lauderdale because the owner allegedly never paid a loan to a bank. Come September 6th, the yacht will be auctioned to the highest bidder.

The winning bidder has to pay 10 percent of that bid up front on the day of the auction. After that they then will have 1 week to provide the remaining balance. Failure to pay the remainder results in forfeiting the original deposit. The U.S. Marshall can use those forfeited funds to repay its own expenses in relation to the sale.

Will we be seeing any photos on the auction site as we did for Bacarella? I’ll be more interested when this comes for Equanimity.

Yes, apparently in 2018 the yacht ex "Lady Sara" and "Lady Linda" was put up for auction by Fifth Third Bank who held the note for the owner that fell behind in payments. The same bank ended up buying the yacht at the auction and then put it up for sale. Reportedly according to court records Fifth Third Bank had loaned the buyer $32.3 M to buy the boat in 2017. She was built by Trinity in 2012 then refitted in 2017. She is available for charter for $295 thousand a week in low season and $320 thousand a week in high season. To see pics google charter yacht liberty trinity. As best as I can tell she is not currently for sale.

Seems that Trinity excelled at one thing we don't normally compare builders on-selling boats that would ultimately be foreclosed/repossessed. However, reading about what they had going on in some of those years and the deals and customers, it's not that surprising.

The last two Trinity yachts that have languished T052 and T056, both 167-foot vessels are now for sale as a pair. The original owners could not complete the projects at the height of the last down turn and walked away from the projects. Now they are available both together for just 10 million.
