Any one know where the main breaker is for line one on a 2006 Cabo express I plugged in shore power and must have blown a fuse or breaker because I didn’t shut off line one switch
I'm not a Cabo expert but a generalist. Thoughts to help trouble shoot; I am assuming line one is a 115Vac leg from the two legs of a single 50A/240 shore service. If your using a 50A/240 shore service, then dual 50A breakers are used. Usually when one side trips, so does the other for total power off. This points to another issue. Dual 30A cables would trip individual breakers. You may have service entrance breakers near the shore connects on / in your boat. If you have them, they will be separate from the panel breakers on your main panel. Lots of mfg's hide these breakers in the bilge or machinery space below the service entrance. Lots of breaker panels have option switches (breakers) that need attention from switching from gen-set to shore power (or back). Look for a 1 + 2 switch or a parallel switch. Skip or J have lots of Cabo time. If my thoughts don't help, give these kids a bit to chime in. Last thought; If you feel like diving in behind the panels, inside boxes or splitting cables,, remember; There is enough juice here to kill you. Know what your doing before you go for that new curly hair-do.
Give us some more information and we might be able to help. Is it a 50amp 125/240v power cable? There is a main breaker located on the front of the starboard engine where the power cord comes in by the cord barrel but it is a single double pole 50 amp breaker.
