Sunseeker 95 vs Pearl 95 vs Sirena 88; opinions please...

Well, I finally put an offer in. Now we wait. I'll keep everyone updated.

Okay, while I'm waiting to hear back on my offer, my back ups are an OA 90 and a Ferretti 920. Any thoughts?

Yeah it took me about two years to find my horizon e84. I miss that thing. Really hope my ex wife loves the fact that she made me sell it.

she wanted it in the divorce. So the option the judge gave me was as either sign it over to her or sit there and sell it and give her half the value. So I chose to sell it. I'd rather it not go to her because she never appreciated it once. We went out on it several times and every single time she acted like it was the most miserable experience of her life. She never had to do anything. I didn't even ask her to put like fenders on.

Change of pace. Newer lines, difference in Hull design. Something different. I went and looked at the Horizons again, and while the appreciation was still there the bitterness was too. So, I dived in and started looking at different models. Found some I liked. Saw alot I didn't. If the Sunseeker doesn't pan out on offers, then I was trying to figure out other things to look at. Definitely wanted to do the Miami show.

I know in time the bitterness will pass. But, I miss her kids (from a different marriage) and watching them have fun. Her eldest was really getting into helping me with the boat. But, her always knocking it, always complaining, it just makes for some bad memories. Not on the brand, totally on my brain.

I've been at this now for 9 months, almost 10. I've seen alot and spent more time then I know. The Sunseeker felt right. While I hope it works out for me, there's a possibility it won't. And keeping options open is nice. If it falls through, I'll go to the show. Either way I'll go to the show, I always have a blast.

I do have one thing going for me. My supportive brother and daughter. He encouraged me to get out and look again. It's nice having him in my corner. He saw that I was just overly bitter on the Horizon. He pushed me into looking at others. This is not his lifestyle by far and away. He's a PWC guy, and his jet skis are his babies. He also fishes which I have never done, so I recently started to look into getting into it with him. Spend more time with him. My daughter is a PWC girl and rides with him. She's not so much into the boats. But, I encourage her acting. And proudly have attended her plays... Even the bad ones... Oh man there are some bad ones. So, family wise, I'm better off without the ex.

I just wanted the melting pool of other brains who are into this to help. It's hard finding people in my area who are into this lifestyle. I also think I'm antsy to get back out and do this again. I've been on shore for 2 years now. That's probably part of my issue. Long search, long time locked on land. A coworker asked why I just didn't take a cruise, and I had to explain the massive difference to them.

I hope it works out. But, there's that voice in the back of my brain telling me keep my options open, just in case. My land legs are good, but it's time for my sea legs to get the cramps out. Oi vay, it's late and I'm rambling. I have a 10:15 tee time and need to crash. Thanks for the support and criticism. I need these things every now and then. Cheers.

I never considered chartering. I might look into that in the meantime. you guys suggested some great brands. Some of which I hadn't even heard of. Definitely going to check it out. I still haven't heard back yet on the offer. So I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. definitely going to go to the show and check out what's there. I'm also going to consider chartering now.

In the meantime does anybody know any yacht clubs that are actually near Orlando?
