I am receiving a alarm code with j1939 data package can bus to a San Giorgio multi tach. The alarm has been verified to not be cat engine related. The gauge is displaying the following:

    PRT Serv L check engine

It displays lower station stb and upper station port and stb

    Any ideas?

It does not appear to be battery related

Did you put can analyzer on the bus to see what code it really is? It could just be a weird translation thing. I get some junk jumping from j1708 to NEMA2000 they dump some thing into one bucket and miss others.

Do you have a mini Murphy display on the bus? Un-plug it.
